We are pleased to present a new special exhibition, "Earwig and the Witch Exhibition."

"Earwig and the Witch" is Studio Ghibli's first-ever full 3D CG animation. What comes to mind when you hear the word "3D CG animation"?

In this exhibition, Goro Miyazaki, director of "Earwig and the Witch," presents an overview of the production of 3D CG animation.

In the exhibition room, visitors can try their hand at creating Earwig's facial expressions and see the puppets from the stop-motion animated film "Kubo and the Two Strings" (2016, Laika), which greatly influenced the character creation process.

As with Ghibli's previous hand-drawn animated films, "Earwig and the Witch" could not have been completed without extensive manual work by a large staff.

We hope that the visitors will discover the fun and depth of 3DCG animation and its potential as a form of expression.
